How To Display Your Prized NFT Art Items

Although the world of NFTs is rapidly expanding, options for how to display your prized digital artworks remain limited. So far, the majority of NFT owners have only been permitted to exhibit digital art items on screens, as most artists do not allow owners to print out or create physical derivatives of their work. Therefore, art owners have begun looking for creative new ways to display prominent NFT artwork.  

In search of answers as to how NFTs can be displayed in a modern home, American lifestyle magazine Town & Country spoke to a few key members of the NFT community for more insight. 

“Even I would prefer to have a painting over a JPEG. But what makes NFTs interesting is that you can put them wherever you like: on a large screen or a small one, you can have a dedicated computer for your virtual reality pieces, you can build a screen wall for it,” suggests the New Museum’s first virtual reality fellow, Rachel Rossin. Renegade NFT artist Beeple (AKA Mike Winkelmann) also chimed in revealing that “new hardware” would probably be involved with future art NFT art displays, although it would be “unlike any frame we’ve ever seen”. 

“We are seeing more and more screens enter people’s homes, and we probably aren’t far away from seeing rooms with a screen as a wall,” added Joe Saavedra, founder, and CEO of Infinite Objects. “Digital art can be used in those spaces, but we wanted to elevate it in a permanent way, as you might an oil painting or other piece of art.”
