What We Know About Gary Vaynerchuk's Upcoming NFT Drop

Internet personality and entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk ("Gary Vee") recently announced that he will be auctioning off NFTs he has created on May 5th, 2021. Over the last few weeks, he’s been educating his followers on Ethereum, non-custodial crypto wallets, and crypto exchanges, urging them to have some ETH on hand to participate fully in the drop without any delays related to currency conversion.

Even though Gary Vee has been cultivating an air of mystery around the drop(s), he has also been dropping plenty of hints. Here&'s what we know so far:

1. In a Recent interview with @DCLBlogger, he mentions that adding utility to the NFT is a high priority.
2. His focus on utility is reinforced with a tweet mentioning that “No token will be just art”
3. Price and sale format: “I'm doing Dutch Auctions for the Tokens with the fllor being .5ETH”
4. The NFTs will be sold on Gary Vee’s own platform
5. “I’ll be doing a lot of giveaways .. free tokens for many on 5/5”
6. There’s also this enigmatic hint.
7. At least some of the drawings tweeted recently are likely to be NFTs
8. Event will take place from 5/5/2021 - 5/12/2021
